Growing your own food can be a fun and rewarding experience for everyone! When you participate in the Grow One, Give One initiative, you are supporting the mission of Rooted and seizing the opportunity to join us, by growing one for yourself and giving one to someone in need. Each donation makes a difference and comes with your choice of a Rooted Seed Kit with instructions, inspiration, and, of course, seeds! Together, we can make a difference in our communities and the lives of others.
We’ve partnered with Baker Creek Heirloom Seed Co and Renee’s Garden to deliver high-quality seeds to your doorstep this spring. Your contribution helps support the mission and operations of Rooted, educates communities on growing healthy food, and provides nourishment for those in need.
Donation Levels:
Donations up to $20 receive a seed kit to grow a vegetable or a flower. It really is so simple that anyone can do it! Have us send you your kit, or let us grow it for you. Whatever we grow we will give in the form of the plant itself, the mature food/flower, or a fully prepared dish.
Donations over $20 receive their choice of a seed kit to grow ingredients needed for various recipes and discover the joy of watching your seeds turn into a delicious and nutritious meal or a beautiful bouquet! Have us send you your kit, or let us grow it for you. Whatever we grow we will give in the form of the plant itself, the mature food/flower, or a fully prepared dish. Choose from Salsa Kit, Spring Salad Kit, Tomato Sauce Kit, or Bouquet Kit.
Sponsor a classroom with any donation of $100+ and help children experience the wonder and excitement of growing food from seed to table together with their classmates and at home. Children grow a select Rooted kit in their classroom while learning along the way, and then enjoy the blessing as those tiny seeds turn into a delicious and nutritious meal they will have together. We will also send them home with a small kit to continue the learning at home.
